Our Practice

The word “charism” (pronounced “care-ism”) has its roots in the Greek language and means “favor” or “gift.” The foundation of our work at Charism Counseling Center is grounded in the belief that everyone is born with unique gifts and that experiences in life can interrupt, mask or dim these talents. Our goal is to support clients in more fully recognizing and expressing their gifts free from the dramas, traumas and stressors of life. Charism Counseling Center provides individual therapy for women, BIPOC and LGBTQ+ professionals in Chicago—providing support to address high-functioning anxiety and depression. We offer a safe, open and affirming space for clients to create greater understanding and awareness of themselves and their lives. We provide support to clients living in Illinois and Missouri.
