Anxiety, depression and burnout therapy for professional women and high achievers
Are you tired of feeling overwhelmed, burned out or stuck in cycles of anxiety, depression and self-doubt?
Hi, I’m Tiffany Green, and ‘m the owner of Charism Counseling Center. I specialize in helping women professionals and high achievers heal from stress, trauma and emotional exhaustion so they can reclaim their power and lead fulfilling, balanced lives.
As a former marketing professional who faced and overcame burnout, I understand first-hand the challenges of balancing ambition with well-being. Through compassionate, culturally- and trauma-informed therapy, I guide my clients to:
- Find clarity and calm: Let go of racing thoughts and emotional overwhelm.
- Set sustainable boundaries: Build a life that honors your health and priorities.
- Heal and grow: Process past traumas to cultivate resilience and self-compassion.
- Rediscover joy and purpose: Align your life with what truly matters to you.
Using evidence-based techniques like cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT), Somatic Experiencing®, mindfulness and coaching, I create a supportive space for deep healing and lasting transformation. My clients often feel more confident, centered and empowered in as little as 3–6 months.
If you’re ready to embrace a healthier, more grounded version of yourself, I’m here to help. Let’s work together to create the life you deserve!

Are You a High-Achieving Woman?
Are you a woman who would describe yourself as focused? Goal-oriented? Ambitious? Self-motivated? Takes pride in your career? Loves a to-do list? If you answered yes to the majority of these questions, you might be surprised to learn that many would refer to you as a high-achieving woman.

An important and often overlooked way to support your mental health is by being mindful about negative self-talk. Please check out my interview with TIME Magazine for “9 Ways to Combat Self-Criticism.”
My Practice
At Charism Counseling Center, I provide therapy for professional clients in Chicago to address anxiety, depression and burnout. The word “charism” (pronounced “care-ism”) has its roots in the Greek language and means “favor” or “gift.” The foundation of my work at Charism Counseling Center is grounded in the belief that everyone is born with unique gifts and that experiences in life can interrupt, mask or dim these talents.
What Is Therapy for High-Achieving Women?
So what exactly is therapy for high-achieving women? It begins with my clients, who are predominantly women challenged by competing personal and professional responsibilities. Many would describe themselves as “high-achieving.” They are smart, thoughtful, committed, ambitious and goal-oriented. From the outside, they seem to be living an ideal life. And for a while, this perception felt accurate.
Therapy Specialties
Anxiety Therapy for “High-Achieving” Women
Secretly, you take pride in being referred to as “Type A.” You dot your i’s and cross your t’s twice—just to make sure. And all of your conscientiousness and hard work has paid off for you.
Depression Therapy
You just don’t have the energy anymore. And mornings are the hardest. Every day when your alarm goes off, you lie in bed dreading your never-ending to-do list. Maybe nothing significantly has changed but it seems that life is so much harder now.
Therapy for Women of Color
Stop. With all due respect, you’re probably doing too much. Chances are you’re working full-time, going to school and launching your own business on the side —all while being the primary caretaker for your child or other family member.
Burnout Prevention & Recovery Therapy
You’re always the one your supervisors come to when they want the impossible done with zero budget. And you take pride in the fact that you have consistently been able to get it done.
LGBTQ+ Therapy
Unlike many of your straight and queer friends, your own sexuality has been a source of confusion or avoidance for as long as you can remember.
Spiritual Counseling
I support clients in the process of recognizing and exploring the context spirituality and faith play in the understanding of their individual lives, relationships and the world, as a whole.
